A note from the founder

Hi, I’m James.

Two seasons ago my wife and I became snowbirds in The Villages. We loved it — but finding our way around was harder than it should be. It took three days just to get a feel for our area, and we missed out on a lot simply because we never knew what was going on.

One day we met a wonderful group of golfers and wanted to play again — but the number got written down wrong, and just like that, the connection was gone. More than once we sat pulled over on the cart path, trying to figure out where to even go.

So I built Lanaii: one simple, friendly place to find what’s around you, see what’s happening, and stay in touch with the neighbors you meet. Whether you’re here for the season or for good — welcome.
